Very interesting biography with particularly fine illustrations. Includes Madame Tallien, Empress Josephine, Hortense Beauharnais, Giuseppini Grassini, Mademoiselle George, Grand, Duchess Louise of Weimar, Queen Louise of Prussia, Empress Marie Louise, Pauline Bonaparte, Countess Kielmansegg, Madame De Stael. 4. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
