About This Item

Redfield, Clinton Hall, N.Y., 1852., 1852. 1st . Hardcover. Fair. First printing, US edition. 420 pp. + ads, 8vo, original black blind-stamped cloth. Early ex-library copy with labels of the Elora (Ont.) Mechanics' Institute on front endpapers, spine repaired with library tape, front inner hinge repaired. This copy appears to be all original but would benefit from repair to the front hinge and backstrip (partially present under lib. tape). Interesting early magic book.
