Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper and rear pastedown. Text block edges very foxed. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Heavy dent to lower rear board. Book has a moderate forward lean. Gilt is bright. Unclipped jacket has heavy edgewear with some slight loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Jacket is rather rubbed and marked overall. Jacket moderately foxed overall.
