Handsome black boards and gilt embossing shows off this Clean, tight, square copy with no marks, highlights or bookplates. Book Well kept and carefully stored in unread condition. Slight shelf wear. Pages are lightly toned. An unclipped dust jacket protected by mylar cover is smooth, clean and brilliant with no shelf wear. Not an ex-library, book club or remainder copy.
Traces the employment of naval fighter and attack aircraft from catapult launch to target engagement. Mersky and Polmar describe the exhilarating, exhausting and tragic dimensions of the Vietnam naval air war in episodes drawn from the personal experiences of American pilots. More than 200 photographs.
