Blue-green cloth printed in gilt, 10.25" tall, 411 pages plus two color folding maps at rear, color frontis, other full page illustrations throughout. Covers rubbed, mainly at the extremities, spine number, social library bookplate and patron pocket, small library stamp on title page, good hinges, sound text block, maps very good with a couple of extra creases, pages clean with light foxing to the margins of the frontis illustration.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
