New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1965. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. Fine in a Near Fine jacket, unclipped ($6.95), lightly toned, rubbed and with a few small closed tears at the edges. Green cloth with gilt lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound with a red top stain, clean internally. The second book from the National Book Award-winning author, a work about American social reform in a similar vein as the work of Richard Hofstadter.
