New York: Scribner's, 1972. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Preface by Philip Young. Very Good in a Very Good jacket, unclipped ($7.95), a few chips at the edges, the most significant at the bottom edge of the front panel. Blue cloth, faded matching the chips in the jacket, with gilt lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound, former owner's label on the front endpaper, clean otherwise. Includes eight previously unpublished stories, arranged chronologically follow Adams' passage through life.

Synopsis

The Nick Adams Stories is a volume of short stories written by Ernest Hemingway. Hemingway's short stories which featured the character Nick Adams were compiled in one volume and republished posthumously in 1972. The Nick Adams Stories includes 24 stories and sketches, 8 of which were previously unpublished. Some of Hemingway's earliest work such as "Indian Camp" is represented, as well as some of his best known stories such as "Big Two-Hearted River".
