New York, NY: Doubleday, Doran & Company , Inc.. Very Good+ in Very Good- dust jacket. 1944. 1st Edition; 1st Printing. Hardcover. Cover Art; This is a stated First Edition. This book is in Very Good+ condition and has a Very Good- dust jacket. The book and its contents are in mostly clean, bright condition. There is some beginning bumping to the spine ends and corners of the book covers. The very tips of the rear book covers have some white discoloration and rubbing. The text pages are clean and bright. The top edge of the text block is stained green, but has been mottled with toning and wear. There is a previous owner's address label on the front pastedown page. The dust jacket has several small edge nicks and tears, along with a couple of very small chips. The top rear flap joint has a two inch semi-closed tear. .
