Seattle: By the author, 1905. Souvenir Edition" Inscribed by the author.. 27 cm; 392 pages, and numerous half-tone photographic plates. Half-tone photographic illustrations in text. Author's bold inscription on front blank. Bound in half grained leather over pebbled boards, titled in gilt on spine. Joints tender. Reference: Tourville, Alaska Bibliography, 1970.

The author prepared this text while editor of the first Nome newspaper. A trade edition was published with a slightly different subtitle. The "Souvenir Edition" was a limited run (about 800 copies) sold by subscription.
