New York: Harper & Bros, 1896. First edition. Hardcover. Fine. Hardcover in deep blue cloth lettered and decorated in gilt. First edition: title page is dated 1896 with copyright page dated 1895 but there is an 1895 Christmas inscription on the finrt front blank. Top edge gilt. 226 pp. plus final leaf ad for other works by Parsons. Profusely illustrated with full page duotone plates of Parsons' paintings and small line drawings in the text. A tight, near fine example with a touch of wear at the extremities.
