Cassell and Company, Ltd, 1917. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1917. First Edition. 249 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth. Ex-Libris plate stuck to front pastedown. Severe cracking to hinges and gutters causing boards to be loose. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Previous owner's inscriptions to front free endpaper. Small tears to some page edges, text remains unaffected. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Splits to spine ends causing cloth to be frayed. Wear marks overall.
