About This Item
1726 BIBLE Theodore Beza Huguenot Latin New Testament Protestant Reformation
Theodore Beza was one of the most prolific French Protestants during the Reformation. In 1565, Beza first issued an edition of the Greek New Testament translated into the Vulgate. His biblical translations were extremely important and popular throughout Europe, especially among Calvinists and helped shape many theological scholars who came after him.
This 1726 Midwinter Latin edition of Beza's New Testament was published in London.
