SIGNED BY AUTHOR! FIRST EDITION/FIRST PRINTING (Houghton Mifflin, 1989) Signed on a Book-Plate page as follows: "With Love, Lois Lowry". **UNREAD**. The Black Full-Cloth Hardcovers are clean with sharp, square corners. The Spine is Fine with BRILLIANT, Complete lettering. Pages are clean and unmarked in any way; there is age tanning as would be expected due to the paper quality used. Binding is Very Tight. Dust Jacket is Very Good, a small tear has been expertly repaired with non-acid tape on the verso. Difficult to see with the Mylar cover on. Price intact and protected in a new custom trimmed Mylar sleeve. A SCARCE FIND!
