Buenos Aires: Imprenta de la Universidad, 1936. Wraps. Good. Printed wraps. 14 pp. All text in Spanish. A brief look at the language of Kakan or Cacan, an extinct language that was spoken by the Diaguita and Calchaqui tribes in northern Argentina and Chile (wikipedia). This work offers an historical linguistic perspective on the language and its possible relations to others. GOOD condition. Large ownership signature on the front cover and title page. Uneven fading and toning to the wraps, with some soiling and minor staining. Side staples rusted. Interior solid, with some browning and light wrinkling to the paper. A few stray light notations present in pencil.
