New York: Research Reprints, [1970]. 77, [i] pp. Hardcover. Original cloth, minor shelfwear, internally clean. $10. * This edition collects two important pamphlets by Adams. Observations (1783) argues that direct trade should be allowed between the West Indies and the American states. The Essay on Canon and Feudal Law (first published in 1768) is a powerful argument against parliamentary authority that defends colonial opposition to the Stamp Act.
