London: Longman, Brown, Green, & Longmans 1846. (Leather binding) 241pp. Very good. Volume 1 of the two volumes. Signed by the translator with an inscription to the Rt. Hon. Lord Brougham. Pebbled green fine leather binding decoratively tooled in gilt on the covers, raised bands on the spine, gilt edges and inner dentelles. Coated pale yellow endpapers, all edges gilt, ribbon page marker, notes. This is an exquisite little volume with only very light wear at the extremities. Also known as Quintus Horatius Flaccus. Translated with notes by Henry George Robinson. (Poetry).
