About This Item

New York: Random House, 1969. First Printing, First Edition Thus. . Hardcover. Fine/Very Good. O'Hara, in addition to his novels, was one of the great short fiction writers of the mid-20th century. This book contains 22 stories chosen from the 251 stories collected in nine volumes between 1935 and 1966, a retrospective sampling of a master craftsman's work as well as an excellent introduction for those just coming to a writer somewhat under-appreciated today. Boards and text are clean and unmarked, tight and square, not remaindered. The dustjacket shows only minor wear along the edges and at the corners and spine ends. There is a moderate crease running the length of the dj's front flap, o/w no significant flaws, no tears or missing chips, not price-clipped. A collectable copy.
