New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1879. First Edition, First State. Hardcover. Octavo, [i-viii], [1]-229 pages. In Good condition. Bound in brown cloth with gilt lettering and black stamped decorations. Boards have fraying and chipping to spine edges, bumping and rubbing to corners, sunning to spine, and mild edge wear and shelf wear. Textblock has sticker on front pastedown, splitting to several gutters throughout textblock, light age toning, light foxing to some pages, and splitting to rear interior hinge. Shelved Room A.
