New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1890. Later printing. 12mo (17cm); original green cloth with white cameo device to front board; top edge gilt; 330pp; frotispiece etching by Percy Moran. Cloth just touched at corners and spine ends, else a truly lovely copy, straight and clean, very Near Fine. Reissue, in Scribner's "Cameo" series, of Cable's first book (originally published 1879).
