London: Williams & Norgate Ltd. ,. Very Good- in Good dust jacket. 1951. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. Khaki cloth boards with gilt titling to the spine. In the original publisher's pictorial dustjacket. The boards are generally very clean and tight. The dustjacket is Not price clipped, and is complete, but has some slight chipping and a few 'closed' tears to the edges/corners, etc. The whole jacket is lightly grubby and discoloured, with some light marks/stains here and there, but the d/j is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks Near VG. The page fore-edges are Slightly dusty and the front & rear endpapers are Very LIGHTLY browned. Internally NO Inscriptions or Marks. Text block VERY clean, bright and tight . 118 pp. Illustrated with b/w photographs of CATS. (Photos submitted to a competition organised by 'The Cat' magazine). The Subtitle reads = "An account of these animals in relation to ourselves; of some aspects of their natural history, behaviour and sex life; of their physical welfare and rights; and of winning their approval and esteem, etc. ," . Cats; Kittens; The Cat Tribe; Ailurophiles and Ailurophobes; Domestic Cats; colour and markings etc, etc,. Images available on Request. ; 8vo 7½" - 8" tall .
