About This Item

Unused postcard featuring the ship "Otranto" pictured in b&w. The back of the card is stamped with a crest for Orient Line of Royal Mail Steamers. The Otranto, built in 1909, sank in 1918 after a collision with P&O Line's Kashmir off Scotland while serving as an Armed Merchant Cruiser. Trove 25128874. Very good condition.
