Scarce copy of January 1962 edition of Cid Corman's Origin magazine (Second Series #4). This edition is devoted largely to Canadian poet Margaret Avison (1918-2007). Other works are by Gary Snyder, Philip Whalen, Frank Samperi, Carol Bergé, Robert Duncan, and Louis Zukofsky. Laid in is a sheet announcing the publication of Zukofsky's It Was.
PHYSICAL DETAILS: Octavo (8 3/8 x 6 inches; 212 x151 mm), 64 pages, in stapled, green wrappers (soft cover).
CONDITION: Top and bottom corners slightly curled, foxing to top edge, ghost of sticker to rear cover, discoloring to pages 14-15 from laid-in sheet, some creasing and general handling wear, but otherwise clean and unmarked. About Very Good overall.
