About This Item
C. Struik (Pty) Ltd., Johannesburg, 1974. Limited. Hardcover. Near Fine/Fair. Signed. 120 pages (complete). Numbered 89 of a limited edition of 100 copies. Signed by de Villiers on the certification page. A lovely, visceral copy. The book has the original blank white paper cover. This has been sunned, rubbed, worn and marked from storage and shelving. It is hale and secure. Fully bound in green leather. The covers are smart, very clubbable and ownable. The spine gilt titling gleams and beams. Included: the original sales slip from Struik showing the entire transaction, original price, dates of purchase and name and address of purchaser. The page trims have been a little sunned. The contents are most satisfying. They are tight, bright, fresh, elegant, serene, clean, clear, generous to a fault. A cleanly seductive book. fk.
