London: The Curiously Strong, 1971. First Edition. First printing. Small quarto. Side-stapled mimeographed sheets with printed card covers; [15]pp, printed recto-only. Mild corner-creasing; still a clean, Very Good or better copy in the original wrappers. A generic bookplate hand-signed by Ackroyd has been loosely laid-in by a previous collector.

Ackroyd's somewhat uncommon first book, a poetry collection; issued as v.4 no.2 of "The Curiously Strong," a London avant-garde literary journal edited by Ian Patterson. Reputedly issued in an edition of "around 200 copies" (see Ahearn, Collected Books 2011).
