New York: John Bradburn, 1865. Hardcover. Good. First American edition and first edition in book form. Vol. 3 only. 314 p., tissue-guarded frontispiece and 3 leaves of tissue-guarded plates; 19 cm. Pubisher's black rib-grain cloth with gilt-stamped spine title and illustration. Blind-stamped decoration on both boards. Pale peach endpapers. The plates are by Marcus Stone. Two former owners' names on front free endpaper in pencil. Scarce. In Good Condition: edges rubbed, with loss at ends of spine and minor loss along front joint; cover is soiled; occasional light foxing and soiling internally; solid.
