New York, NY: np, 1881. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Very Good, Green cloth covers. No DJ. Former owner's bookplate inside front cover (which says 'Ex libris" but this was a private owner NOT ex library). Front paper missing just before title page. Rubbing and wear to top of spine, otherwise very good copy of a rare book. No markings or creases. Tight straight spine. Title page claims that this is the first English translation of the second book of Ovid's Art of Love into English.
