(viii), 256, (8) pp. Contemporary tree sheep, spine flat with gilt tooled bands, gilt lettered to one panel, the 19th century armorial bookplate of the Pauncefoot Duncombe baronets to the front pastedown. Frontispiece portrait of the author and 61 plates plus three 19th century engravings of Arabian horses mounted to front and rear blanks. Expert repairs to the joints, spine ends and corners, a very good copy.
