London: Working Men's Lord's Day Rest Association, 1887. Bound in grey-green cloth with illustration and lettering stamped in gilt and black on upper board, beveled edges. Tiny rub marks on upper board, rubbing of tips and ends of spine, owner gift inscription on front free endpaper (dated December 16th 1887), binding cracked between front endpaper and title page, staples rusty (two have been used to side staple the issues together); otherwise internally clean, unmarked and tightly bound. Two years of this monthly 4-page publication, 96 pages in all. Each issue starts with a full page wood engraving followed by short articles mainly of a religious nature.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket as Issued.
