Yossi Stern (Israeli, 1923-1992) Yossi ("Josse)" Stern was a prominent Israeli artist based in Jerusalem who was widely exhibited and published several illustrated books. PEOPLE OF THE BOOK contains Stern's artistic impressions of the 'patriarchs and prophets' who filled the Tanakh/Old Testament as well as more delightfully colorful representations of scenes from the life of modern Israel. SUPERIOR CONDITION: tight, clean, bright copy with a unique illustration of Moses on a front endpaper. Slight rubbing to the bright dust jacket.
