About This Item

np: The Artist, 1975. Oblong 4to, [24] pp, photocopied on rectos only from typescript, photographs, holograph notes and diagrams and clipbound into black plastic covers.

An artists' book by White published in conjunction with his May 25, 1975 performance at LAICA, in which the artist received instructions from a tape recorder, reversing, perhaps, the traditionally accepted relationship between artist and medium.
