New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1978. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good-/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 674 pp in this story of the Cold War era Alger Hiss-Whitaker Chambers case. Copy shows slight edgewear and is a little shaken. There is an embossed seal of the previous owner on title page and slight soiling and a remainder mark on bottom page ends. Dust jacket shows light rubbing and has some chipping/tearing on edges. Laminate on dust jacket is yellowed.
