SOLD AS A READING COPY - A hardcover without dustwrapper in aged green cloth-covered boards very rubbed to the edges and bumped/very rubbed to the spine ends-corners, internally the front endpaper is cracked but all pages are secure, the pages are tanned and free from writing or stamps, tanned/lightly foxed to the text-block edges. A rather wonderful compendium of late Victorian knowledge concerning "the insects, birds & other animals, fungoid diseases and weeds, affecting Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry; together with Remedial and preventative Measures. Carefully packaged and posted within 48 hours from our wee bookshop in Scotland. .
