Dustwrapper edgeworn and a little rubbed, with archival tape repair to head of spine panel; trace of foxing to endpapers and top edge. Very good condition, in a good dustwrapper. "The adventures of an 1820 settler and his family with lively comments about the settlement as a whole and about many of the settlers. Written entirely by the 1820 settler Thomas Philipps." .
