France: Le Cerf, 1981 This is item no. 32 of the series La riviere enchantee published by Les Editions du Cerf, written by Dominique Barrios-Delgado and illustrated by the amazing Japanjese-American artist Yutaka Sugita in 1981. WorldCat indicates 5 available library copies in Canada and France and I have been unable to locate any listings for it. It is, in fact, a library discard from Montreal in 2003, in good condition with the usual library stamps and card. It is a very attractive book, using a shiny mottled paper for the text which shows off the bright colors. (see scans). It was printed in Japan and published in France in simple French. The laminate on the cover is lifting and has been largely removed. There is no dust jacket if issued. Please see scans 10.5". x 10.5" Small oblong quarto, 26 pp. unpaginated.
