Didion's second novel, which was also made into a screenplay in 1972. 8vo, 214pp, black and orange cloth covers. Front cover has tide mark on upper right. Original dj designed by Janet Halverson, unfaded, slt rubbed at top. Internally clean, binding tight.
Synopsis
Play It as It Lays is a 1970 novel by the American writer Joan Didion. Time magazine included the novel in its TIME 100 Best English-language Novels from 1923 to 2005.
