Prior owner blind emboss stamp to upper right corner of title page. Slight marginal age toning. In the gutter between the copyright page and the contents page, small ink notation regarding a 1992 performance in Edinburgh. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of a scarce title. ~SP33~ [1.5P] Cecil Philip Taylor (1929-1981), usually credited as C. P. Taylor, was a Scottish playwright. He wrote almost 80 plays during his 16 years as a professional playwright, including several for radio and television. His plays tended to draw on his Jewish background and his Socialist Marxist viewpoint, and to be written in dialect. Contents: Schippel; The ballachulish beat; Walter; Operation Elvis; The black and white minstrels; And a nightingale sang; Good.
