A Modern Library hardcover edition in jacket offering 230 of Robert Frost's poems, chosen for this volume by Mr. Frost and including his 'personal credo' in essay form, "The Constant Symbol". --- In Toledano spine 8 / green cloth / gilt titling on black spine & cover blocks / black topstain / grey Kent endpapers / jacket style i, verso lists 405 titles in ML catalog. Likely published c.1961, though 1946 date appears in book. ML #242.1. --- A partially cracked front hinge has been imperfectly repaired on this item resulting in a stabilized binding but with visible repair tape. Also with light pencilings here and there inside the book and faint dampstains to cloth. Unclipped dust jacket with soiling and age-toning, otherwise remaining intact and wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.; 12mo (7 to 7-1/2 in. tall); xxiv, 445 pages .
