Eton: Eton College at the Riccardi Press, 1946. Vellum. Very Good Indeed. 10" by 8". None. An attractive prize presentation copy of the poems of Thomas Gray. Privately printed for Eton College at the Riccardi Press. Gray was an Etonian himself, and this volume includes his "Ode on a Distant Prospect of Eton College". A prize presentation copy, given to one Michael Patrick Radcliffe Boyle at Eton in 1951. With a bookplate of Boyle to front pastedown. Thomas Gray (26 December 1716 30 July 1771) was a poet, letter-writer, classical scholar and professor at Cambridge University. In a vellum binding with gilt armorial decoration to front board. Externally, very smart with the odd slight mark to boards. Internally, firmly bound, bright and generally clean. Very Good Indeed

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
