Two volumes in one; octavo; full contemporary calf, red gilt spine label; 177; 235pp.; engraved portrait frontispiece at head of Vol. I, added title pages to both volumes, four leaves of plates. Textblock rather soiled throughout, a number of archivally-repaired long closed tears (no loss of meaning), contemporary shelf number (?) to front free endpaper and 20th century ownership rubberstamp to front pastedown, else a Very Good copy in a very handsome American binding.
