Includes binder's stamp and has an illustrated frontispiece. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow was an American poet and educator. He wrote many lyrical poems known for their musicality. In a tree calf prize binding. Externally, very smart with light rubbing to head and tail of spine.Prize bookplate from Wellington College to pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with some spotting on endpapers. Very slight tide mark on top right corner, slightly visible on some pages, can be seen on foredge. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
