Original 3/4 light brown calf over marbled boards with gilt titles and decoration on spine. One decorated wide raised band on spine between the title and author's name. Marbled endpapers and page edges. Introduction by Charles Dickens. Ca. 1889. Small gouge to page edges of pg. 127-132 (not affecting text). Bottom corners of pg. 231 through to the end of the book are waterstained (not affecting text). 247 pp..
