US: Schanes & Schanes, 1980. First Edition. Paperback. Very Good. All prints are signed by the artists. Limited Edition, #1167 of 1200 copies. This portfolio celebrates 13 of the all-time greatest artists of the Underground Comix movement. Contributors include: R. Crumb; Guy Colwell; Rick Griffin; Dan O'Neil; Jack Jackson (Jaxon); Spain Rodriguez; Robert Williams; Rand Holmes; Rory Hayes; Larry Todd; Gary Hallgren; Greg Irons; and S. Clay Wilson. Each 11.5" x 16" plate is signed and numbered by that specific artist. Some creasing, as well as light soiling to the back of the portfolio. Light foxing on the margins of the the first print (Rick Griffin). The plates come housed in a metallic-embossed folder with a numbered booklet full of information on each artist and how the portfolio came to be. Musty smell to interior.
