USA: National Publishing Company, 1940. First edition, 1940.. History of a trade publication, Modern Packaging, that was launched in 1927, along with a chronology of packaging history. Illustrated with a few black and white plates. Blue cloth printed in silver gilt, lighter blue spine, with dustjacket. The book is in very good condition with some browning along the joints likely caused by the binding glue, good hinges, firm text block, clean pages with a gift notation dated 1940, no other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [1.50] and is also very good with some light shelf soil and edge rubbing, no chips.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
