Size is octavo (8vo), 8.75"/22cm h. Bound in publisher's light blue cloth, black lettering to spine. Lacks dj. Plain white endpapers. Xiv pp prelim material, 205 numbered pp, five blank following. Author's preface, seven chapters, bibliographical notes, notes, index. Condition notes: Ex library with typical stamps and stickers; spine tail discolored by removal of sticker; corners bumped, spine ends rolled, spine slightly cocked. Lacks dj. Rear free endpaper has been neatly removed. General tanning, with a few more pronounced spots where tape once resided. Numerous pages show light pen or pencil notes, not too distracting, no highlighter. Quite solid reading copy. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
Furrowed Brow Books' goal is to offer an eclectic selection, while providing specialty offerings in Eastern Orthodoxy and Byzantine civilization, theology, Christian mysticism, science fiction/fantasy (Inklings emphasis), and military history.
