Brand New book with publisher's errors, like a contemporary salesman's dummy Beautiful oversized hardcover, about 10 x 12 inches Padded pictorial cover has engrossed and gilt bordered illustrations Heavy glossy stock pages are supposed to have all kinds of interesting fine illustration and graphic design elements: ribbon tied envelopes to open, lots of lift the flap "envelopes," cards and even a sealed envelope inside back cover. But - this book opens onto a printed two page spread, which is out of order, and all of the other pages except for another two page spread are blank. All of the special graphic features, except for the sealed envelope on the back cover, are also blank. The book is the story of Princess Alyss Heart, HRI (Her Royal Imaginer.) From back: "You hold in your hand a scrapbook filled with the collected letters, journal writings and vibrant art of a lost princess. Her name was Alyss Heart and you may know her or think you know her from the silly book of nonsense Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. In fact, Lewis Carroll got her story all wrong. Now, for the first time, and through the help of a dedicated history, Princess Alyss gets to tell her side of the story..." This volume is what you choose to make of it.
