Octavo, 477 pp. Dark green cloth, author's monogram stamped in blind on the cover, gilt spine lettering, foredges uncut. Trace wear at top and bottom of spine, corners touched, moderate and uniform page edge darkening. Very Good or a bit better. The autobiography of St. Louis-born multi-aesthete Augustus Thomas (1857-1934), a prolific playwright who was also an accomplished actor, journalist, and sketch artist. l51n
