London: Punch, 1859. Hardcover. Very Good-. 1st, a vg- copy, nicely rebound in purple leather. Scattered foxing and stains inside, Preface page torn. Hundreds of illustrations by John Leech, Charles Keene, John Tenniel, The Trident, and others. A classic by Tenniel here, who drew the weekly editorial cartoon for many years, of Louis Napoleon as a porcupine bristling with bayonets.
