London: Her Majesty's Staitionery Office, 1899. Paperback. Good. London: Her Majesty's Staitionery Office, 1899. First edition. Good. Ex M.R. Leeson Marshall, 4 R.M.F. Capt (later Major) M.R. Leeson-Marshall was born in 1859 and served with the 3rd and 4th R.M.F. He lived at Callinafercy House, Kilcolman, Co. Kerry and although he is included in the list of officers from Kerry who served abroad in the First World War, it would appear that he did not go to France. He would have been 55 in 1914. *vide Burke's Landed Gentry of Ireland, 1912, p. 460. Scarce in this condition . Red card cover rubbed and a little faded, some small holes and abrasions half way down the foredge of front cover which go through to page x, not affecting text, interior with very occasional foxing, usual tanning to pink advertising pages, otherwise clean, a few dog-earred pages and a corner bump to top, owner's signature to cover, binding sound.
