Londini [i.e. London]: Sumptu J. Rodwell et al., 1815. viii, 245pp, [1]. Contemporary calf, tooled in gilt and blind, contrasting red morocco lettering-piece, marbled edges. Rubbed, slight splitting to upper joint, chipping to head of spine. Marbled endpapers, recent bookplate of R. J. Dickinson to FEP, occasional creasing. An early nineteenth century edition of the works of Roman lyric poet Quintus Horatius Flaccus (65-8 BC) edited by German classical scholars Johann Matthias Gesner (1691-1761) and Johanne Carl Zeune (1736-1788). . 12mo.
