At the top and front edges of the book there is age toning, and minor staining, internally, faint traces of foxing to the last 3 leaves of the book and to the half title page. The edges of the dust wrapper are lightly chipped and rubbed. Quokka island lay a mile or more of the coast of southwest Australia, and to Jim, believing the sole inhabitant to be friendly old Walter, it sounded an ideal place for a camping holiday with his friend Jack and Rick but from the moment they go ashore they find themselves involved in hazardous adventures.
